I made Christmas Stockings for my children when they were small and now that the grandchildren outnumber the children, one of my daughters suggested it was time to get out the Christmas Stocking pattern again. This is a new pattern from "Wool You Order" (there are 10 variations on the pattern) but I like the old-fashioned look of it. Started it in Nature Spun sport - a beautiful yarn but I decided I wanted something not so soft, so I am making it in Ramu Strikkegarn. One of my knitting goals is to perfect my color-knitting skills and this project is one step toward that. As you can tell, I'm still having some tension problems but I can tell that the work is getting better. By the time I finish stockings for all the children, spouses and grands my work should be perfect.
