These are samples from a workshop on Norwegian Weaves given by Norma Smayda. From the top: a blended draft of rosepath and monksbelt, I like the way a change in treadling produces the illusion of curved lines, it doesn't show up well in these colors but Norma had a sample that was just lovely; overshot from Leksand, unlike American style overshot this pattern produces true diagonals on both sides; Telemarkes Teppe; variation of summer& winter;blended draft of overshot and crackle; same as above with colors reversed; 6 shaft warp stripes in twill, this is a sweet little pattern.
