What I did on my summer vacation...



I went to Vavstuga and learned how to be a much better weaver...



... how to wind a warp and dress the loom more efficiently...



...and wove a bit, too. Above, twill towels (mine is second from the right) and above them, table cloths in plain weave; below, eight shaft block damask in broken twill table covers.



The class also wove twill blankets. I can't believe how much weaving and learning I did in just 5 days. I was exhausted but it was the good kind of tired, the kind that one gets after a really productive intense experience.
