Naught to do but knit. The electricity went off this morning. The things planned required electricity so there was naught to do but knit. I took my walk- the 6 mile route, what else was there to do? Then came home and knit some more. I realized a few moments ago that the power is back on. I started the Faroese shawl again (4th time) and this time I think I've got it. I'm about 3 inches into it and it looks wonderful. I'm using the cashmere and silk hand dyed (red) yarn that I brought in Toronto. Beautiful to look at and wonderful to work with. It has been a wonderful morning and if I don't get everything that was planned done today- well it wasn't my fault, was it?
