This is a block of "Lizard Ridge" from Knitty. This is a fun pattern, you knit from both the inside and outside of a ball of Noro so it's colorful and all of the colors work well together. Leanne and a group of knitters from Knitting Today are knitting the squares for an afghan to raffled off for Casting for Recovery a support group for breast cancer survivors, recommended by our own Penny. I'm making a couple of squares and have dug out my Noro leftovers to start an afghan of my own. I really like the bumps (formed by short rows) and plan to block my blocks lightly so that they retain that texture.
