I lost a day last week. I lost it at the Epic Bookstore/Mermaid Cafe in Yellow Springs, Ohio. It wandered away while I was sitting in a comfortable chair in a sunny window sipping a fruit smoothie and chatting with Eve about children, spring and books while she decorated the windows (Eve has a rare gift- not only can she chat while writing but she can chat while writing backwards). The loss caused me a few moments of confusion after I got home when I thought I'd missed my massage session, but otherwise I haven't missed it. I hope my lost day was found and put to good use by some harried, over-worked mom.
