Here's an update on the Mitered Square blankie: On the top, a double sized square of "Disco", very fancy looking with the metallic thread running through, combining both garter stitch and stockinette. On the bottom, a close up of the I-cord binding, I increased at the points and decreased at the inner corners so the I-cord would lie flat. Deni is knitting a Mitered Square vest out of Noro. The construction is interesting, you make the I-cord first and pick up stitches from the I-cord to knit the squares.
